We sourced our 2024 fruitfrom our orisinal sower located in Napa County's Pope Valley. The area continues to be our "go to" area because of its reputation for producing some of the valley's finest expressions of this varietal. The 2024 growing season began with abundant rains replenishing the soils and sening the stage for a very promising.rintage. We experienced an early April budbreak then steady growth through the season that allowed the vines to progress beautifully. Cool mornings and warm eveniugs in the vineyard allowed the fruit to ripen slowly and consistently developrng an intensity of flavors and brisht acidity.
Winemaking & Tasting Notes
Our 2024 vintage is 100% Sauvignon Blanc fruir We picked in the cool predawn hours to bringin chilled fruit and pressed the whole-clusters then employed an extended 22-day fermentation in stainless steel. The wine was then aged for seven months in a combination of stainless steel and concrete tanks.
The wine expresses a pale-straw color in the glass alongwith tropical aromas, peach, Lychee and citrus, The wine is midweight on the palat€ and gives way to flavors of pear and cihus zest melding with the clean mineral-driven finish Vineyard 985 Sauvignon Blanc is known for.
